The Superannuation team is responsible for the regulation of superannuation trustees and funds to ensure compliance with the law and promotion of good outcomes for consumers. The team’s role focuses on the conduct obligations of trustees in their dealings with consumers, including disclosure, advice, and complaints. This involves surveillances undertaken by ASIC proactively on a thematic basis and in response to breach reports, reports of misconduct or referrals, formulating enforcement referrals, publishing guidance, providing advice in relation to policy, considering applications for relief from legislative requirements, and engaging with relevant stakeholders.

We are looking for people with an inquisitive and analytical mindset, ideally with experience with quantitative and qualitative data. You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, including law, finance or economics. You will have understanding of the Australian financial services sector, including potentially product management, operations and systems, client service or compliance. You have strong verbal and written communication skills and enjoy building, maintaining and utilising stakeholder networks. You enjoy working in both an independent setting and a collaborative environment.
