About the Program

From day one as a Coles graduate, you’ll feel the connection your work has to our purpose, to ‘sustainably feed all Australians to help them lead healthier, happier lives’, and be accountable for decisions that can make a meaningful difference to communities and our supply chains across Australia.

Our Store Support Centre (SSC), based in Hawthorn East in Melbourne, is the engine room of Coles Group and a dynamic and rewarding place to work.

Why become a Coles Graduate

At Coles, we understand that when you’re included, trusted and supported by leaders who genuinely care, you can do your best work for the team feeling like you belong.

During the two-year program, you’ll be working on real deliverables with clear ownership and accountability as you learn and grow through functional rotations, a tailored development program and a tight-knit support network. You’ll also have the opportunity to work in cross-functional groups to complete an Innovation Project, where the top teams present to our Executive team on a real business challenge.

We will support your passion and graduate journey with experiences and opportunities, with each rotation expanding your knowledge as you continue to discover Coles and yourself.

Discover our Human Resources Function Options:

Our People & Culture Team work hard to create an inclusive workplace driven by support and empowerment. We focus on bringing out the best in our people, enhancing overall employee experience through ongoing process development, helpful tools, innovative tech and ongoing career opportunities.

As a People & Culture Graduate, you will have plenty of opportunities to influence the future of Coles through developing a diverse team, recruiting top talent or enabling flexible work environments, making Coles the best place to work for our teams and ensuring our customers come first.

Our Safety team: ensure that team members remain safe whilst at work and that our customers are provided with a safe shopping experience and as a food retailer, ensure the safe handling of our food products.  As a Safety Graduate, you will do this by partnering with all Business Units, Store Development and Operations to ensure all new concepts and innovations land safely in stores and we engineer out identified risks. If things do go wrong, you will also participate in investigations to understand the root cause and what controls can be implemented to eliminate the risk.

If you want to achieve big things and fast track your career, APPLY NOW!

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You’ll be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold a permanent residency at the time of application
  • For our Store Support Centre Graduate Program, you’ll have completed a bachelor's degree before commencing the program.

Applications Extended! - New application close date on Sunday 10th April @ 11.59 pm AEST
