The pay is actually lower than I was getting at my retail job while at university. Per hour it is quite bad. I have heard it is better in Sydney/Melbourne offices.

The pay and bonuses at the company are ahead of the average pay in the sector for graduate level.
Intern, Melbourne
I am not sure as to the bonus system, however I am satisfied with my pay.

I haven't experienced bonuses yet. Pay is competitive when compared with other firms in the same industry.

Pay is not great at entry level but there are clear opportunities for promotions and raises not long after entry level.
Graduate, Sydney
Pay starts extremely low and alot of pressure is put on the lower level.
Midlevel, Melbourne
It is not the best pay but in line with the industry.
Graduate, Melbourne
Decent pay, bonuses if you do your job well and stand out.
Midlevel, Melbourne
The bonuses generally are generous for someone at my level.
Graduate, Brisbane
I think they are in line with industry standard but unfortunately the industry standard is poor.
Graduate, Sydney
Average accounting pay, but graduates offer more than just accounting skills and more is asked of them.
Graduate, Sydney
Paid as accountants in audit / tax, for advisory and consulting work, small bonuses.
Midlevel, Sydney
Meets the average salary/bonus of the industry.
Graduate, Melbourne
Seems to be fair relative to the industry, not the most important factor for me

We have had a recent pay rise but it still doesn't compensate for the many extra hours and psychological pressure the job places on you. Setting pay is hard given that it's hard to set a base level across all employees when some offices might be busier than others - this should be compensated then through bonuses. However, I've heard the bonuses aren't that good and don't really reflect your performance at a junior level.
