What you will do:

As a Branding & Communications Graduate within TAL, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing our brand image, developing marketing strategies, and engaging with our customers to deliver impactful experiences.

During your time in the program, you will gain exposure to various areas within branding/marketing and work on a range of tasks, including:

  • Assisting with campaign and communications delivery including go-to-market planning, creative production, and execution across traditional and digital channels;
  • Campaign monitoring and reporting to inform formal recommendations for optimisation;
  • Tracking competitor campaign activities and support the observation of key trends, new opportunities, and insights;
  • Support in delivering a consistent brand presence in market with alignment across all brand touchpoints from a visual and content perspective;
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with statutory requirements;
  • Contributing your unique perspective and ideas to foster innovation and drive positive change.
  • Strong academic record ideally in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a similar related field
  • Desire to work in the life insurance industry
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-rounded background with experience across community and / or extra-curricular activities
  • Curious mindset, a willingness to learn how things work and a passion for making things better.
  • Interest in roles that not only embrace strategic skills but are also commercial and customer focused.
  • Leadership qualities developed through high school, university, work experience and / or extracurricular activities
  • Initiative and drive, together with the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.

Who Can Apply

  • Completion of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the last 2 years or by the end of 2024
  • The program starts in February 2025 by which time you must be an Australian Citizen, a Permanent Resident of Australia or hold 485 Sub-Class Visa, and willing to undergo references and background checks as required.
