Ability Action Australia is an exciting, fast-paced new national provider of allied health, behavioural support and employment services to the Australian National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process is designed to make is as easy as possible for you as a candidate to find out if a role at Ability Action Australia is right for you. 

  1. Application: The first step is to complete our application form <insert link> and attach your current CV. If your CV isn’t quite up-to-date, you can email our Talent Acquisition Team to arrange a more informal conversation. 
  2. Phone call: We will then be in contact to arrange a phone chat. This will provide a chance for you to ask any questions you might have about the program and learn more about Ability Action Australia. Our Talent Acquisition team are a speedy bunch so expect to hear back from us within 48hrs of your application. 
  3. Interview: You will then be invited to an interview with one of our leaders from the location you wish to work. We will ask you to take us through your placement experience and tell us a bit more about yourself. We will also ask about skills that you might bring to the role, and the ones you want help to develop.  
  4. Reference checks: We will ask you to provide two contacts so we can conduct reference checks. 
  5. Offer: Following the interview, our Talent Acquisition will be in touch to make an offer. If you are unsuccessful, we will provide feedback to help set you up for success for your next interview experience.

  • Supportive working environment.
  • How supportive and welcoming the whole team has been. Being provided an informative induction program with tutorials to follow to support learning and development.
  • Knowledgeable employees and a supportive and caring working environment that places emphasis on helping people, including you, to get most of the life.
  • AAA provides a very supportive environment and well-designed graduate induction program which enables a smooth transition from university to work
  • Wide variety of different areas to explore, positive work culture, great support for a new graduate

  • Currently does not have a clinic in my location.
  • Processes and procedures around home visits and NDIS funding can be challenging when you first start (but that's the same at any company).
  • Need to be motivated to work remotely Need to have a well set up homework space, internet access etc.
  • Having to navigate the NDIS and learning about the different processes/policies - it's taking a while to get used to.
  • It is new and systems are still being polished off
