About the Summer Internship Program

Nova provides unpaid internship placements for university students in their penultimate or final year of studies, whose tertiary qualifications are aligned to Nova's core capabilities.

The internship program provides successful candidates with the opportunity to learn and develop their skills, by working on exciting projects aligned with their tertiary studies.

Typically, placements occur over the summer university break and start as early as November through to as late as March. However, we are flexible around these dates and on exception, placements can occur outside November to March.

Upon completion of the Internship Program, some candidates may be offered a role in our Graduate Program. The Nova Graduate Program is a two-year program that will provide you with the experience, supervision, mentoring and training necessary to make a meaningful contribution to Nova, determine your own career pathway and solve the problems that really matter.

What will you be involved in

  • Support the Generalist stream of the People team in a number of key projects aiming to drive results through the development of capability, succession, and talent plans
  • Work with the People team and key stakeholder groups to deliver a person-centric solution and required business outcomes aligned to the People Strategy initiatives
  • Support the process improvement and administration across the employee lifecycle (induction and onboarding process, career paths and development planning through to career transition support and offboarding)
