LGBTQ+ at Telstra

Telstra is passionate about creating an environment that’s inclusive and supportive; a place where everyone can truly be themselves

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI+) inclusion is important to Telstra - so that their people can bring their whole selves to work and contribute fully to delivering for their customers and each other.

They have many employee networks where you can build relationships and influence, learn and support each other. These include the Spectrum network, which is one way their LGBTI+ employees and allies connect, both inside and outside Telstra, to promote a positive and inclusive workplace. They also show their support by taking part in events such as Melbourne’s Midsumma Festival, Pink Dot in Hong Kong and Singapore, Wear It Purple Day and IDAHOT.

Telstra is a founding member of Pride in Diversity, an employer support program dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of LGBTI+ people.

They’re committed to being inclusive at all levels of the company – and this is supported through their values, cultural priorities and their Diversity and Inclusion policy.
